Whenever you start a new hobby, which is very tempting to try to get everything at once. It may also be easier to buy what the store clerk tells you what correct, especially since you're probably eager to start. However, if you set up your first aquarium and buying your first fish, then it is a good idea to think about what really want and what may be appropriate for you before buying.

If you are unfamiliar with tropical fish, then the best thing to do is find someone it is. If you have a friend who knows about tropical fish, then take them to the store with you. But if you do, be sure to make your first inquiry. This may be tempting to go to the store and buy fish that look better, but if you have no idea whether, or how you can handle them, so it's not a very good idea.

There are some very good books for beginners about how to keep tropical fish that tells you exactly what the requirements of each of the fish are and how gets along well with other fish. If you do this then the investigation will be a much better position to choose the fish to go out and spend your new hobby is much more likely to be crowned success.

A mistake many people make is they buy at once. It is used to buy the tank and all accessories while buying fish. To properly configure the tank without using chemicals to clean water, it needs at least 24 hours to leave the water and land to settle and clear. You must also check the filter, aerator and heater works properly and the tank is installed and everything runs smoothly. There is no reason, even if you do not let water clear, let your new fish into a bag while doing this.

Better to wait until everything is up and running well for when your fish then you know you'll be fine. Tropical fish are a great pastime and choosing carefully and take time to put everything in place and can make all the difference.

Do tropical fish need to have tropical plants?

I bought some plants you just put in the tank and to grow in 20 days. But my tropical fish. Is it acceptable or should I tropical plants? my fish seem to be far below and there are some signs of damage to plants, but have not yet flowered.

You'll be fine. I guess you had these bulbs only let in the water? They grow quickly and do not live long. Be sure to remove all the leaves dead roots that plants have dies.I tanks with nothing but stones and artificial plants. Plants that are not needed in a modern aquarium with a filter and airstones. Some people like them, others do not. However, fish do not care.
