Tropical Fish Filter
In the last two articles I have shared with you the good shots on the selection of aquarium fish and a good way to transport and acclimate to their new environment. Today I'll talk about the proper way to feed the tropical fish, because it is very important.
Did you that overeating is the most common cause of death in aquarium fish? I know it's hard to believe that something so simple could kill more fish of all diseases and problems with water quality, but is an area that people give when it comes to tropical fish.
You must ensure that no more than food fish, but then they need to get enough food to survive and grow healthy. Here are some tips on how to feed your new tropical aquarium fish.
1, the supply is often, but in moderation. This has not reduced food consumed, which are converted into ammonia and could damage or even kill fish.
2 See, sometimes eat and how much fish can eat in five minutes. So do not think more than that. This will create less waste.
3, try to give other foods that do not pollute the water as much. I think only two of Food meat or three times a week, while they tend to create more waste.
4, consider buying a more powerful filter. If you feed more then one will waste more effort to the existing filter. Look at the improvement of the filter if you still problems with ammonia.
5, buy a catfish or some pleco's. These fish feed on the merits of eating food that is waste left by other fish and to reduce end waste. Pleco also eat algae and keep the tank clean.
I hope to try to resolve some of these tips to try to avoid over-feeding and the problems caused by food ammonia. While there, I'm trying sure we will see good results and fewer fish kills, if you have any problems with ammonia and nitrates in the water in your tank.

190 liters tropical fish filter question?
I'm going to buy a corner aquarium with tropical fish is, the community, with its 190 liters of water, visit many other fish shops are telling me that the filter inside and juled is the best tank and I say that an external filter is better. Does anyone have a corner tank if so What is the best filter to obtain. I have 3 fish tanks I am too experienced. I believe that external sounds better and easier to maintain, any response or advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi, I saw a little in the way, if you have a pool area then I recommend the external filtration system, I think it's better, but easier to achieve, especially if you are short it is a long way behind to enter the tank to clean it, etc. If you have fish again outside the small community would be better as well, usually get stuck in the filter, I hate when that happens. Again, if you have an internal filter, you will see, and are so large they need lots of plants, etc. to hide. Hope this helps and good luck in your choices, Maria
