Exotic Tropical Fish
Of all the mistakes that you can do with these magnificent animals, one might think that the feeding of tropical fish is one thing to be right! After any efforts that you may sprinkle a little food for fish in the tank and watch the little guys go?
In fact, there are many mistakes you can make when it comes to food for tropical fish, and some of these errors are not so serious, while others may even affect the health and welfare of fish in general. Consider some of these errors and also about the right thing to do when they feed tropical fish.
The most common mistake that many pet owners when it comes to feeding the fish food is tropical. Usually, they see their fish swim to the top of the tank when it is time to eat and it is assumed that boys are hungry, then you can interpret this to mean that to feed more often you do not need to go hungry as well. In fact, when you feed tropical fish on a regular schedule that only gets used for this plan and address at the top of the tank when it is meal time, if they are hungry or not. We humans sometimes do the same - we get the munchies at night, while watching TV just because you're bored or because it is customary to eat popcorn during our favorite, not because we're actually physically hungry. So Do not let the fish behavior to influence their agenda when it comes the feeding of tropical fish, usually twice a day is sufficient and, in some cases more than adequate, and in its natural habitat is not uncommon to lose that one or two days of food and be perfectly fine.
It's also good when tropical fish food from time to time to give special treatment. Nurturing a love of live fish and things like blood worms or sea shrimp are considered a delicacy for them. You never want these special gifts to act as their main food source, but an opportunity to treat that fish can feel happy and relaxed, as humans to humans. You do not need to touch the bait, where tropical fish that feed these special gifts as most are available frozen or dried, making them last longer and more convenient for you. If you fish you are trying to breed, you can give them special treatment because it can make them quieter and ready to mate.
So consider these points when feeding tropical fish, do not overeat, but denied their special gifts either. Flake fish food is good enough for most breeds, and may even involve the children in their care, leaving them in the boiled food when it is time!

Exotic tropical fish that are compatible with what I have?
Does anyone know what kind of exotic tropical fish and is compatible with 2 pacus, Shark Fin 2 red, 2 silver sharks, 4 Rosy Barbas, 2 Spinner Barbas, 2 Tiger Barbas, 1 Upside Down Catfish, Catfish 1 Raphael, and a pictus catfish? I have one of 55 gallons and I want something exotic in what could be his own! Thanks I work in a petstore and have a lot of exposure for fish, and I know my tank can still take a few inches of fish, but I was looking for something that is exotic, because it did not order any thing: D thank you very far!
Good, I'm sorry to repeat what others have said already, but here anyway. You need to take your pacus, silver tip sharks, and atleast one of Redtail. So what I would do is to get his beard until atleast six species. ARE shoaling fish and will do much better in groups of six. Pictus cats are also happy / comfortable in groups of three or more. Even with a sample of what will be suggested that the maximum storage potential. Even if you go by HTE one inch per gallon rule, that is outdated and useless, since you will have more shares and this is after getting rid of the fish that I have suggested to get rid of him. These are the lengths of adult fish that currently; pacus-36-inch Redtail / Redfin Sharks 6 silver-tip sharks inch-14-inch beard pink 2-inch Spanner Barb Barbas-7-inch 3-inch Tiger Catfish Upsidedown Raphael Catfish 4 inch-9 inch-4 inch Pictus cat You see, even with the old rule, you significantly overcrowding. If I were you, I keep my beard and whiskers pink tiger and Rafael Lobo and his group to increase Barb atleast 6 each. It's just my opinion. Seeking not to hurt anyones feelings, I'm just trying to help a fellow fishkeeper enjoying this hobby in the coming years.
