what is the best 40 gallon tank for turtles?

I have 2 Red Ear Slider turtles that is about 3 years old each. I need to get a new home for them. I'm thinking about a 40-50 gallon tank but i don't know which one to get. Any recommendations and suggestions? that would be great. Also, which heater, filter, and uvb lamp should i get?

So far I am thinking about a 40 gallon tank, visi-therm deluxe 150 watt heater, a good filter, and a reptisum 10.0 uvb lamp.

thank you for your asnwers!!!

If you can get an even bigger aquarium than a 40-50 gallon, that would be even better. RES can get huge!

I've always heard not to buy anything cheaper than an All Glass brand aquarium and you'll be fine. I use this basking light for my turtles. I researched and researched and decided it was the best...

You'll want a canister filter rated for three times the space as your tank since turtles are extra messy.

I love the visitherm heaters!

I got a relatively cheap screen top custom made by the guys at glass cages as the ones I found in pet stores were always for small aquariums...

Congrats on upgrading your turts! You will love seeing how happy them seem when you move them to their new, bigger home. I started out with my hatchlings in a 20 gallon. (texas map and southern painted) They got soooo much more active when they moved to their 120 gallon and they're so much more fun to watch.
