What types of fish are best for a 5 gallon tank?
This is the tank i have "Mini Bow 5" Its a 5 gallon tank.

I recently got it as a gift and wanted to know what are some fish and (please tell me how many of the fish) I can keep in this sized tank.
Ill go into one of the pet stores and ask there as well, but sometimes it feels like the people that work there don't know what they're talking about.
A betta fish is best for the 5 gallon tank. I wouldn't really recommend any other fish for anything under 10 gallons. But you could probably keep some shrimp, or a small school of small tetras (like neons).
DEFINITELY NOT A GOLDFISH!! Goldfish are actually pond fish... they do best in ponds, but they can be in LARGE aquariums. You need like 20-30 gallons for a goldfish.
