Can you suggest plants and fish for a 10 galllon tank?
My 10 gallon tank has cycled and I'd like it to look like this photo http://diogenese.typepad.com/freshwater_aquarium_garde/images/2007/11/06/10g_before.jpg
What plants should I get with what kinds of fish? Don't fish eat plants?
Well first off a lot of plants need more lighting than what comes in a typical hood. Some plants that do well with lower light are java fern and java moss. Otherwise you could get fake plants that look like what you want.
As for fish here are some suggestions:
1 male betta
4 cory cats
5 ember tetras
5 dwarf cory cats
3 male guppies or platies or mollys
1 amano shrimp
Keep the stocking light and fill it with more plants and decorations and you will have a great tank. Do not worry if it looks a little empty for a while, fish grow up quick.
