Is the Penguin Bio-Wheel 200 a good filter?

I bought a Penguin Bio-Wheel 200 (HOB) filter from Petsmart today for a 38 gallon aquarium. Its rated for up to 50 gallons.Is this a decent filter?. It's nice and quite. I would like to hear from someone that has or knows about this filter and what kind of rating you would give it. Thank you

It really depends on the bio-load of your aquarium. I use a penguin 330 on my 38 with 1m 4f aulonacara stuartgrantis, and I really like it. I prefer Marineland filters to Aquaclears due to the fact that the Marinelands are less prone to being disturbed by sand substrate. They are more work to maintain though, and replacement cartridges are expensive. You can always mod the cartridge, and remove the carbon to get considerably more use out of them.
