Aquarium Light bulbs?

I have an aquarium at home with a red eared slider living in it. I can buy some UVA-UVB light bulbs at some stores near by, but I can't figure out on what I could screw the light bulb into to have it just above my turtle's basking spot. Putting them into the holders in the ceiling wouldn't work... so what...?

Is there such thing as a light bulb stand? Because I have looked EVERYWHERE and couldn't find one.
