Tropical Fish Tank

Owning your own aquarium is great fun, and I was keeping my own love for many years! There are more than 60 million of us "aquarium" in the world, and if it is a hobby that you are interested, it's worth a little time to learn what it is before you start.

So what is a fish tank? In simple terms, it is a transparent container where you can keep, feed, watch and enjoy fish live. Get your tank set up and make sure the water temperature and pH balance is correct before returning to the store to get your fish! If you did everything correctly, Your fish will be healthy and happy, and you have a new hobby fascinating to learn and love!

Many configuration options your first aquarium can be exciting, but we must do even that is the choice of soft water tropical fish get along and prosper in your tank. 9 guppies and just bought a male betta today. The Betta eat my Guppy flakes tropical fish I have to buy a particular type for him? If I do not need to go buy special food for the Betta is okay if the rabbit eating too much, because they are all in the same tank?

Costa Rica is located between Panama and Nicaragua, and is bordered by the Caribbean Sea to the east and the northern Pacific Ocean to the west. It comprises 51,100 square kilometers and territorial waters occupy about 589 square kilometers. Beaches stretch over 1,100 beauty with the ocean Western Pacific and the Caribbean Sea on the east side.

On the beaches of Costa Rica can be done yourself in a variety of activities. Among the many activities you can spend a snorkeling time, diving, sailing, kayaking, surfing, water skiing, sea fishing, sport fishing, diving, swimming and many water sports such.

The best months are September to November.

There are three main areas diving in the Pacific Ocean. The first area is the Caño Island, located on the Osa Peninsula in southern Costa Rica. The other two are in the northern province of Guanacaste.

Freshwater Tropical Fish

Want to know what you need to do to maintain a beautiful aquarium of freshwater tropical fish? It is not difficult, but you should do these few basic tasks to ensure the optimum enjoyment of your aquarium.

Caring for freshwater tropical fish is not difficult or time consuming, but there are some things that need be addressed on a regular basis to ensure optimal health for tropical fish, which means optimum pleasure for you.

First, always be careful when introducing new tropical fish in your aquarium. New fish are stressed by the ordeal of coming home, and will be susceptible to the disease. It is advisable always have new fish in a quarantine tank for a few days, just to make sure they are fit and healthy.

On a daily basis, feeding the tropical fish, either once or twice a day is enough. Not finding the best food to give your fish and give them variety, because the fish can get bored of it diet every day. When you feed them, always make sure we give them too much food, because fish do not overeat, so any unwanted food be kept in the aquarium and go very quickly. Be careful who you entrust to care for the fish when you go on holiday. Many well-meaning than ever have had their own fish can not believe how small an amount of food fish really need, and before you know the water is black, and fish are gasping for breath, if not dead.

When you feed them, take the time to have an account and make sure that all fish are present and correct. If you can not see one, you need at first, can only be hidden, or may be sick or dead somewhere. Leaving a dead fish in your aquarium soon contaminate water. Also check the filter is working properly, the water is at the right temperature, and replace the loose pieces of the plant, which can have come loose.

In a month basis, you have to do a partial water change. This involves the removal of 20-25% water, and its replacement with the cleaning, chlorinated water, which is at the proper temperature. Before removing the water is advisable to change the filter and heater. At the same time have ordered the aquarium cleaning glass airstones control are not clogged, (if any), and may need to clean the filter, depending on the type you have. I personally use a "cleaner gravel, which sucks the ground up, and clean while removing the dirty water.

Glass Tropical Fish

The first decision you must do when buying an aquarium is whether to keep freshwater fish or saltwater fish. Depends on you if you want to keep saltwater or freshwater but if this is your first aquarium, then I suggest you start with a freshwater aquarium.

Here's why: salt water tanks are more expensive and more complex. You have more things to worry about how the water salinity, water treatment, and temperature. As a result, freshwater fish are much easier care, if you are new to keeping tropical fish.

Here are some other things to consider when buying an aquarium:

Location
When you're deciding on a location for your aquarium, remember that it can be placed in direct sunlight, or in any other place that could lead to changes in the temperature.

Also remember that your aquarium, when filled with water, can be very heavy. As an example, a 20-gallon glass tank full weight of 225 pounds. Keep this in mind when choosing a location for your aquarium ... it will be impossible to move afterwards.

At ground level
You need a soil level for your aquarium, as this will reduce stress on the tank and reduce the likelihood of cracking over time due to the plant to be mixed.

Electrical outlet
Make sure your new deposit is located near an outlet so you can connect the heaters, lights and pumps.

Accessible
