You could try posting an ad on some fish forums. Most have a buy/sell section. Here's a few links I have:
The top right one of this link has other links to monster fish keepers as well:

Fish Pond
How do you get rid of algae green water in a fish pond?
I don't want to spend nifty bucks to get rid of it. It makes the water green, but there's no other kind of algae in my pond. The pond is small so I can't get any more fish. I'm planning to put plants in it, but i can't do it right away. is there any easy way to get rid of it? i only have 2 choices if i need to buy a product: petco and home depot garden center.
Large water changes are your best bet [...] Continue Reading...

Coral Reef
How do I determine the biodiversity of a coral reef?
I want to do a survey of the biodiversity of a coral reef (coral species only). I am thinking of using 1m^2 quadrants and simply identifying and counting species. Any tips? How do I analyze this data?
I would use interrupted belt transects or quadrats. If you use quadrats though, you need to be sure you aren't biasing for certain types.
You should do more than count species, but also determine abundances. Diversity is more than just presence & absence, but also how rich the diversity is. In [...] Continue Reading...

Fish Tank Heater
What could I use to warm my fish tank instead of a heater for fish?
My fish tank is really cold, but I'm not allowed to buy a fish tank heater. Is there anything I could use as an alternative?
Is there anything made for fish that I could put inside instead of a heater to make it warm?
I have mollies, I don't know what the temperature is, and my dad doesn't want to spend money on a heater. >___>
If your fish tank has lights in the hood, this will help raise the water temperature. If it does not, [...] Continue Reading...

External Aquarium
My 400gal saltwater aquarium needs two external sump pumps. What are the best pumps for a reasonable price?
The sump has two outlets for connecting pumps and I am only running one dolphin pump currently. I want to buy two new proper pumps that can push the water up about six feet of piping into the tank with a minimum combined flow rate of 1100gph.
I run Pentair Rainbow Lifegard Quiet One pumps (two) on my 185 and am happy with them. I'm assuming that there is six feet of head per pump. Based on this to get [...] Continue Reading...
